Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 is upcoming mobile of Samsung Company but the mobile is giving tough competition to HTC Desire S. The Desire and Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 both mobile are having same segment but Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 is having some extra technical features in same selling MRP.
Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 mobile is built with 4.3 inches super AMOLED plus Touch screen display. The display is having accelerometer technology with Gorilla glasses. HTC Desire is also built with same technology display screen but the physical size of the Desire is less than Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 display. Dimension of the Desire S is 115x59.8x11.6mm with weight of 130g in same segment Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 has 125.3x66.1x8.5mm dimension with 116 g of weight. The Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 much thin as compare Desire S. The Samsung mobile company has provided 1.2GHz ARM cortex A9 processor with Oriom chipset along with a Mali-400MP GPU and HTC Desire S are having 1GHz Qualcomm Scorpion processor with MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset along with an Adreno 205 GPU. The Cortex A9 dual core processors are excellent processor as compare Qualcomm Scorpion processor. HTC Desire S is having 1.1GB of ROM with 768MB of RAM and the handset support up to 32GB expandable memory but the Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 is having 16GB or 32GB on board storage with 1GB RAM and its support up to 32GB expandable memory. Camera department of the Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 is having 8MP capacity with 3264x2448 pixels resolution but Desire S is having 5MP capacity camera with 2592x1944 pixels resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 price in India has not been announced yet but the HTC Desire S price in India is tagged at Rs. 25,490/-.
